College Student Health Insurance Iowa

What kind of money is viewed as “rich” according to the government.?
I’ve heard upper middle class is like 150k-250k, and rich is considered 250K or more a year.
Wouldn’t it really depend on where you live?
I live in Des Moines, Iowa and I don’t see how even around 125k a year wouldn’t make you feel rich. Inless of course you’re stupid and are paying off student loans, health Insurance, one of those new really expensive but not really impressive homes, and a car payment at the same time.
After I’m done with my 4 year degree in college (for accounting, I’m going to try to live at home for a few years (because my parents said I could as long as I work), and try to pay off my student loans right away and still continue to drive my ’95 ford thunderbird (one of the cheapest cars to insure) to work.
I’m hoping to work myself to a higher accounting job, probably management level. Once my student loans are paid off out of college then working for a few years I will then try to find my own home (new”er”, but only in the 150k range).
Obama has come out and said $125,000 is rich and $200,000 is super rich. He wants to raise taxes 9% on the over $125,000 and 7% more than that on over $200K.
Obama is proposing that social security tax increase all the way up to 200K with in increase in benefits. That is a 50% in ss tax for those making $200K.
