HomeOwners Insurance in Florida? Who is a good company?
I am looking for good prices for Home Owners Insurance in Florida, maybe even a combination Insurance with auto and home. Let me know.
Yeah, good luck on that. NO ONE is writing new policies in FL. OK, I’ve heard of ONE company in FL writing coverage, but havent’ been able to personally verify it.
YOU WILL be stuck with the “state fund”.
Florida Homeowners Insurance is the MOST EXPENSIVE in the US right now. There AREN’T “good rates”. And it’s going to get worse.
So .. . no competition, horrid rates . . . OH, and to make it worse, the WIND policy is seperate, and so is the FLOOD, so if you are within 25 miles of the coast, you’ll need seperate wind and flood policies, in addition to your homeowners.
Combining with auto is NOT going to help the situation – it’s just really UGLY in FL right now.
Any agent should be able to get you into the state fund policies.
