Low Income Health Insurance
Free/Cheap Health Insurance for low income in LONG ISLAND, NY?
I am 19 years old and i go to school part time, so i am not able to get my moms Insurance, and i also work but dont get Insurance there either. I come from a low income family, so i was wondering if there are any companies that you could qualify for and be able to get an Insurance for cheap or free.
i was talking to one of my friends who said he went to the hospital and registered for Insurance and qualified and gets it for free with metroplus, but he lives in bk and that Insurance is for people who only live in bk, quens, manhatten…so if there is something for those areas there has to be something for long islanders, right?

We also have a hospital in my area that do a finical screening and health Insurance is free. Call your downtown Hospital I’m sure they have the financial screening process. Also you could call social services to see if you qualify for services.
