Medicaid or Medicare?
I have a question about health Insurance for me and my sister. I am nineteen years old and she is seventeen. I am a college student at Texas Tech University. Our mother passed away about a year ago now and I was wondering what kind of healthcare benefits are available for us. I am the only family my sister has left and I am worried if she gets sick than I can’t pay her medical bills. Is it possible for us to get medicaid or medicare? Frank, Your best option would be to get in touch with the nearest Social Security Office. As both Medicaid and Medicare are a Part of Social Security. It is also a possibility Your sister could receive cash income also because she is under 18 years old.
