in canada,toronto.. is there any healthcare benefit for the students on the study permits?

my friens is here from india and recently hurt his eye and the rust went in the eye.. now he has many appointments and much expensive.. he has green health card.. and he does not work.. his college doesn’t support anything.. and the company he has Insurance with doesn’t provide any benefit for the eye injury.. do u think he has any other option cuz he has 2-3 more appointments at the hospital and its going to cost him too much..

Check with your local OHIP office. Maybe they can suggest a plan for him.
