Student Health Insurance Wa
Planned Parenthood Info?
I need to go on the birth control pill (for medical reasons, but even if it wasn’t — who cares?) but I can’t afford it. I don’t have health Insurance. I have tons to pay back in student loans and I have no money. On the website, planned parenthood suggests that it costs about $20/month to be on the pill. Is there any way to do this for free? Their website doesn’t give much info and they aren’t answering their phones right now. If anyone could tell me where to get the pill for free I would be very thankful.
The particular location I would visit is in Vancouver, WA if that makes a difference.
I have applied for over 30 part-time jobs and it is very difficult to get a job in today’s market. I am also going to graduate school and that takes up a LOT of any extra money I come across.
The pap smear isn’t a problem, I’ve had like 5 or 6 in the past
When I worked for PP in Wash about 5 years ago they had a program called Take Charge that women applied for that covers birth control. It’s a state assistance program like medicaid but for BC only. It used to be really great back then because it used to cover pap smears and std testing, but know only covers Birth Control ( if it’s still available) Ask about it.
