Student Health Insurance In Ny State
Need Help, Unemployed, need health Insurance?
I am 24 years old, on unemployment in NY state. I live in NY city, looking for a job and currently not allowed on either of my parents health Insurance plans having passed the age of 23. I am currently a student and trying to find a part time job to do while I attend college.
I need some medical work done right now, and need to visit my doctor for a checkup and a physical. However I am completely broke, and neither I nor my family can currently afford the cost of a doctors visit or any medical procedure. I was trying to research medicaid but their website is quite vague and I was looking for anyone who has explored the options who is in a similar situation.
